Western Pennsylvania Enterprise Architecture Forum
The WPEAF was created in 2002 to provide opportunities for sharing best practices around the emerging field of Enterprise Architecture. The mission of the group is to foster the sharing of non-competitive architecture processes, concepts, and artifacts in order to support business requirements. Membership is open to any organization willing to share their experiences in developing and maintaining an EA program. The group meets on the first Monday of the month. The meetings usually comprise a presentation and roundtable discussions on topics that range from EA to emerging technologies.
This forum is an exclusive roundtable of enterprise architects from Fortune 500 enterprises, federal government, select consulting firms and universities who are mandated with the challenging mission of providing strategic value to their enterprises through the use of information technology.
The EA Forum is a member driven organization founded by LiquidHub Inc., in 2005. Our members are IT architects, senior level developers, and consultants. Enterprise Architecture has existed as a discipline for many years, but Information Technology is finally at a point where many of the early promises of reusability and loosely coupled services can be realized. The EA Forum was formed to promote the exchange of ideas and concepts among a variety of enterprises representing a diverse mix of industries. Ultimately, Enterprise Architecture and the methods in which it is implemented will have impacts not only within organizations but more broadly in value chains and trading networks. Membership is open to all interested individuals that apply and remain in good standing within the Association.
